Young talent from around the world exhibited their work at the Global Youth Innovation Workshop-Fair.

Samuel Agossou, un éleveur de lapins au Bénin, affirme que les politiques gouvernementales pourraient inciter les jeunes à créer des emplois pour eux-mêmes, mais aussi pour d’autres jeunes dans les zones rurales à travers le monde.

Avec de la semence et une aide financière de 10.000 francs CFA (environ 20 dollars), il devient huit ans après un producteur d’ananas au Bénin et emploie 88 personnes.

Agossou started with “only three female rabbits and one male rabbit. Seven years later, there were 700 000.

To participate in development and change their society, young people in Benin, in West Africa, must increasingly become entrepreneurs, particularly in the agricultural domain.

To ensure that Africa builds on its potential, we have to keep young farmers out of the cities and on their farms.

Young people from around the world are meeting in Benin to share ideas on getting the youth to stay in rural farming areas.
